He is also a Life member of Suicide Prevention Australia and received in 2006 the Medal of the Order of Australia for services to psychiatry, the development of child and adolescent services, teaching, and suicide prevention.

 

	Prof. Diego De Leo MD, PhD, DSc, FRANZCP The winner of several international awards, Professor De Leo is extensively published, with 28 volumes and more than 180 peer-reviewed articles. He sits on the editorial board of eight international journals, and a number of national and international committees. He is also the Director of the Australian Institute for Suicide Research and Prevention at Griffith University, Brisbane; and the World Health Organisation Collaborating Centre for Research and Training in Suicide Prevention.

 

	Dr. Nadine Pelling PhD, MA, BA (Hon Psych) Nadine Pelling’s qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Counselling Psychology (2000, Western Michigan University); a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (1995, Western Michigan University); a Bachelor of Arts (honours) in Psychology (1990, of Western Ontario), a Graduate Certificates in Alcohol and Drug Abuse (1995) and Non-Profit Leadership and Administration (1999), both with the Western Michigan University.

 

	Prof. Ian Webster MD Professor Ian Webster is a physician and Emeritus Professor of Public Health and Community Medicine of the University of New South Wales and Patron of the Alcohol and other Drugs Council of Australia. He is Chair of the Alcohol Education and Rehabilitation Foundation, National Advisory Council on Suicide Prevention, the NSW Expert Advisory Group on Drugs and Alcohol, Chair of the Governing Council of the Ted Noffs Foundation, a member of the Australian National Council on Drugs, and Chair of the Centres for Primary Health Care and Equity at the University of New South Wales.

Ongoing Professional Development is a mandatory requirement for almost every mental health Member Association. Summit events are pre-approved to contribute toward PD Points for numerous Associations.

 

Associations that have not pre-approved events, can be approached on an individual basis and will likely provide approval based on the high quality content and content providers.

• Federation of Victorian Counsellors Inc;
• Federation of Psychotherapists & Counsellors of Queensland Inc;

All proceeds from the Mental Health Super Summit go to Kids Helpline Charity. Every single cent that’s donated to attend the Super Summit, without deduction, goes directly to helping the kids.  

 

 

 

When you register for the Super Summit you decide what registration fee you want to pay. There is no minimum (for the highest quality PD education available). There are no other fees or charges to attend and every cent of your registration fee goes directly to Kids Helpline Charity.
